Out of the folliwng, who do you believe to be the greatest influence on MacBeth's downfall: the weird sisters (the witches), Lady MacBeth, or MacBeth himself? Please give a couple of brief reasons for why you think this. Thank you.

What did you do for set and costumes...did you go "all out" or try to keep it pretty simple? How many cast members did you have?

For my theatre friends. We'll read the Shakespeare play and enjoy a five course feast--one course after each act. So--which part in the play do you want to read?

I am auditioning for my school musical, Les Miserables. My voice part is mezzo-soprano belter. I would like to choose a lesser-known song that shows off my higher range.I am not exactly sure which specific part in the show I want to try for, but can anyone suggest a female audition song that fits the character of the show?? thanks.

I need to put together a selection of Broadway songs for a choir concert for kids from ages 6 through 18 and I've run out of ideas once I picked through Wicked, Aida, and Phantom of the Opera. If anyone on here can think of some suggestions (solos and duets would be wonderful also!), I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance! :)

I have a two part question

A) With the writer's strike going on, are actors of sitcoms still getting paid?

B) What is the "chain" of paying all the way from the advertisers down to the actors (who pays who...director, producer, etc)

Hi! I just recieved free tickets to the brodway show of RENT. We're going on sunday January 20. I'm going with my sister, and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of stuff to do during the day. We're keeping the trip really cheap, so if you had any suggestions, i would apprectate them!

something my mom had suggested was trying to get tickets to a daytime show for another play. Do you have any suggestions for how i could get them for little to no money? I'm willing to work with anyone if they had ones they were willing to sell!

thank you so much!

I am considering pursuing acting or singing. I have a pretty good voice, but like I said, I have no training (in acting either).
My question is, is it to late to seriously consider a carreer in one of these things??

It seems that every theatre wants something different, so I'm trying to get myself prepared for auditions next year. What do I need?

Contemporary Comedic: 1 minute, 1 1/2 minutes, 2 minutes
Contemporary Dramatic: 1 minute, 1 1/2 minutes, 2 minutes
Classical Comedic: 1 minute, 1 1/2 minutes, 2 minutes
Classical Dramatic: 1 minute, 1 1/2 minutes, 2 minutes

Am I missing anything? Should I prepare some shorter pieces?

I want to have some solid well-rehearsed monologues under my belt, so I'm not scrambling to find something that fits the audition at the last minute.
