Hippie song: Any Janis Joplin , Beatles, or Grateful dead...song... if you want like new "hippie" songs- phish, string cheese incident, keller williams...rusted root..( more complex) I would stick with the oldies.. As for a hippie persona...They are very care free, opinionated, caring...they pretty much beat to their own drum..active in human rights, and anti war protests.. They really just believe in love and peace...and also being who you truly are

check out life magazines archives for good pics. bell bottoms,sandles, suede, fringed vest or jacket, long straight hair, with a flower on one side of course, are all typical garb from the era. check out tunes from the mama's and the papa's, bob dylan, and the turtles.

what play? you should do someting from the musical Hair. Or! any of the beatles music will be good! but i recomend the music from Hair!
