Theater & Acting - November 2007

Is there any particular way I can find an audition list for Disney Channel for 2008??? I'd really like to look into auditioning for a TV series. I've looked online, and all I come up with is stuff I'm not even searching for. Do I just have to dig through it, or is there a particular way to search??? Acting agents/ professionals please help!!

I am an aspiring actor, i took 3 classes in NYC and i dont background work on Nickelodeon. My ant husband in california is Anthony Andersons uncle. They want me to come over their in December to meet him and see what he can do for me to help me get in the biz. Is it possible that he can get me on a show or a commercial with the little experience that i have because i know a few people who is famous now just because a family member is famous.

i live in canada and im a talented 13 year old actress with quite alot of experience. i would really love to be on a disney channel show, but the problem is i live in canada. im not allowed to move to LA, so i would love a chance to be on the disney channel, but i dont know how to get one.if you answer you could change my life. acting is my whole life. thank you!

I mean like the date boundaries for monologues etc. i know some places want ones after 1950, but is this written after or set after? obviously i understand the boundaries for jacobean ones, but its the modern ones which confuse me.

(This sound kind of stupid) I'm 14, I'm trying to become an actress...but when I look online for open casting calls you cant get the info in less you pay, which makes me think its fake. I'm not sure how to go about getting a acting job for a teen. I don't even know what I'm suppose to have or where to get those things. If anyone can answer any of my question or give me a number or a FREE website that would be great thank you! Also I have taking multiple acting classes (all the teachers kept saying I have a knack for this and how I'm going to make it) And before they took away our drama program at my school I did that.

My son went to see the Schoolhouse Rock musical at a local theatre as part of a school field trip. He talked about a song where a bunch of hippies came out onstage and acted silly. I have a vague remembrence of a Schoolhouse Rock cartoon from my childhood with a group of hippies in it. I can't find it on google or youtube, and I can't think of it. I am auditioning for the musical at my school and I really need a good audition song. Last year I was a hotbox girl in guys and dolls and the year before that i was Cinderella in Cinderella. I am 13 years old. By the way... I sang In My Own Little Corner for both of the previous auditions.... but i want to do a different audition song this year. I only need about 16 bars of a song. I would really like it to have a belt at some point but if it doesn't thats okay. I am really just looking for the perfect song. Thanks!

Hello, I have a drama school audition coming up and I'm curious about people's thoughts on Phebe's speech "Think not I love him, though I ask for him....and thou shalt bear it, Silvius". I have some good ideas but I would appreciate any pointers on how to perform it, I'm doing it comically but I don't want to push this too much. Any other input about who she is, what she's like and thoughts on the character would be greatly appreciated. I'm a huge fan of Shakespeare but she's more of a minor character and there's never much written about her. I hope you can help me, thanks!

Ok. I am 15. I want to get into acting, I have always wanted too, but now I want to more than ever! I live in Naples, Florida. Any help? Like my mom really supports me.
