You cannot learn to act in one month for an audition and I would be highly suspect of anyone who says you can or offers you a class claimng that. The best course of action is to get a coach and hope that you have been studying acting off and on for a while. But you cannot learn a discipline that others take years to master in a month.

actormyk, Theatre Doc & helene have given you sound info. I'd like to add that no agent sets up a film audition a month in advance. At most you generally get a couple of days notice. Also, if you get fast and cheap acting classes then you will be a fast and cheap actor. That is no way to do things. I would be highly suspect of anyone offering you both the audition and the classes of this nature. Check out these companies and ask other people who's opinions you trust what they think of the situation because as you can see... to those of us who regularly answer these types of questions, this does not sound legitimate in the least and it has set off big red flags in our eyes. None of us like to see anyone get hurt when all they want is to have a dream come true.

Why not post another question asking what you really want and what state (or country if outside the US) you live in, but I caution you... Only ask if you're willing to do the work involved. We can be pretty harsh to those who only want to become famous. There's no passion or work in that. We've all put a lot of our life into what we do (or have done) and take some degree of offense to those who want to take short cuts. It takes work and dedication. Realize that and it's all good.

good luck,
Marianne

We have to know where you live. It won't do any good to give you the name of a class clear across the country. I think you are in danger of getting scammed. Your apparent naivete is a red flag that these "movie auditions" might not be what you think they are. If you write and tell me how you got the audition and what company is conducting the audition, I will advise you as to it's legitimacy. Otherwise, you could be placed in a situation which could cost a lot of money for nothing.

"Movie auditions" for what movie? Strange that you'd be submitted by an agent for a role, with no prior experience, which it doesn't sound like you have.

Taken with your other questions today, this one makes me even more suspicious that you're being had.
