(This sound kind of stupid) I'm 14, I'm trying to become an actress...but when I look online for open casting calls you cant get the info in less you pay, which makes me think its fake. I'm not sure how to go about getting a acting job for a teen. I don't even know what I'm suppose to have or where to get those things. If anyone can answer any of my question or give me a number or a FREE website that would be great thank you! Also I have taking multiple acting classes (all the teachers kept saying I have a knack for this and how I'm going to make it) And before they took away our drama program at my school I did that.

At your age, you should take classes, get an agent, try out for community shows and so on. Considering the fact that you have school, and you might need a tutor while you act, and also that you'll have to travel around to the right jobs, make sure your parents are all up for helping you. If I were you, I'd start saving also, if you were really passionate about acting you should be willing to pay more for these things. You also need lots of experience until you actually get noticed by an agent or judges at an audition. A lot of talented kids are out there, and without connections it's really tough.

Before you go on, also ask yourself, why do I want to do this, for the money and fame, or because it's what I love and want to spend the rest of my life doing. Acting isn't just what you put on the screen, but knowing the history of movies, plays, famous writers and so on.

Take acting classes, get involved in community theatre, audition for student films. Work on your craft and then read trade papers that list open casting calls, also look at Entertainmentcareers.com. The site offers many opportunities.

First of all there is no web site that will magically make you an actor. The only legit ones are for experience actors. You are going to need years of experience and training and your parents support to make it.
