c well i have signed up for my talent show at my middle school and i am so excited! i am singing nobody's perfect by Hannah Montana! and i am so ready but the thing is that i found out that the girl i do not like is doing it her name begins with a M and she does not like me but i don't care.but as i was saying the reson i am scared is because i know she can sing very well and the 1st place winner wins $50 cash! and well everyday in drama she also tells me in a mean way "hey i am doing the talent show and everyone is their 4 me" and i know on purpose she asks everyone in front of me this "hey r u going to the talent show because their is going to be a lot of good talent and well some bad"and when she say some bad she gives me a look like she is saying that i suck.i try to tell my self that i can do it and i will get on that stage and sing and have fun! but no matter how many times i tell me that i always freak out because of M.so can u plz let me know how to get her out of my mind?HELP!

Is it possible to be a successful working actor in tv/film without being famous? It's not about the fame nor the money to me. Acting is my passion I'll even do it for free. But ironically the money is helpful to provide for my family because of the kind of world we live in. So can if your not famous can you still earn a pretty good amount? Thanks all!!

I like acting, but I'm not in Drama class and I've really only been in one play(in the fourth grade, I'm in tenth now) And without much experience, I know I'm very, very unlikely to get a part. I love acting and one of my teachers told me I should be in drama. I just really lack experience. And I also have a problem with getting up on stage. What are some good ways to solve this?

I am an international student (Asian) who is now studying Commerce at University of Toronto in Canada. I am very interested in pursuing a career in acting and I am now looking for good Acting programs preferably in New York City. I have heard of Stella Alder, AADA, HB Studio, Actors Studio, NYU, Julliard... But I dont know which ones are better. Secondly, the four year program of NYU is not affordable for me. Do you have any particular program in mind that you think I may benifit from? And is it common/ likely for an Asian student to succeed in an acting program in the States? And do you thinks it's a okay choice if I take 2 or more years off for performing arts program and try things out then go back to commerce if nothing works out for me as an actress?

Im a 13 year old female that lives in Canada. There are many modeling agencies around here, but i would like to get into acting. I can take acting in high school, but i would like to become a 13-14 year old actress. I would love to work with Disney, but most auditions are in LA.

I have 2 online profiles, but neither seems to be getting a "head-forward" response.

Life with Derek & Zoey 101 are in Canada i think.
Could somebody please tell me where, and what else i can do to try and fulfill my dreams of becoming an actress..

(Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Emily Osment etc: are my role models, i want to be THAT kind of celebrity.

Please dont write put downs - as in Give it up you wont be in acting.

Ive heard a lot of that, so please, please no more.

(PS: IM AUDITIONING FOR A PLAY/MUSICAL IN JANUARY!)

I know that's not how you spell it. Anyway- for those of you who've seen it- you have your main dude, who has a daughter, right? And the daughter is in love with this guy, and there's this other girl, who dresses like a boy at some point, who like's him to and (SPOILERS) dies. She sings a song about him or something, close to before she dies, what is it?

In a play, doesn't the leading lady always get the last bow, even if the leading man is more famous? We were arguing over this at school today, and I can't remember ever seeing a play where the last bow went to a man.
