Please don't take this as putting you down personally, but I am thinking that you may have been scammed. You say you've had training from one of the world's largest acting schools? In Kentucky? If it's John Robert Powers or one of those places, I'd get different training. Those places are scams and the training if you can even call it that is questionable. You need something real to put on your resume. You also say that you did an international commercial, so in what regions did this commercial air? Did they give you a copy so that you at least have reel material? Is it any good? Are you getting residual payments for this project?
To be honest, your background sounds thin. It sounds like you need to get better training and get more experience. I don't see how you got a legit commercial without getting legit representation even to negotiate your deal. SAG does not have any franchised agents in Kentucky. The closest are in TN. I'm not sure how far you are from the closest one. If i were you I'd spend at least a few months if not more training with someone else and building my resume before sending my pic & res to these agents. It also depends on whether they happen to be in ned of someone with your specific look so it's up to you to take the change right now with little to no resume or what.

Generally you get a list of the SAG agents and send them your resume. If they smell at least $15K a year small ones will take you on because they KNOW they can up that to $30K easily.
An agent can double what you make.
An agent lives off his talent.
The Agent takes MORE interest in those actors who provide 25% or more of his income.
And agent expects to make at least $35,000 a year if not 50K
That means, at a 10% commissioin, an agent wans to see at least $5,000 in 10% commission, which means you make $50K.
If you're not making at least $15K now in show biz, no one will touch you until you make a spalsh and get into the newspapers.
