In The Merchant of Venice why did Portia have to follow her fathers will.
Was it out of respect or was it an actual law to have to follow some ones will instructions?
Thanks

I play a jungle citizen (cheetah) and I put 2 big buns at the top of my head to resemble cheetah ears. Is that good, or can I do any better than that?

taken from the quote, ''the theatre is the one medium that forces, by its very
limitations, that confrontation between an abstraction and a person,
between a system and a group of individual people, between social
history, or political theory, and the actual life of a man and woman'.
needing to discuss the quote but having trouble with the 'abstraction' part!

I think Green finch and linnet bird from sweeney todd may be an option. they're both sondheim and i think the characters are similar- please let me know if i am misinformed because i have never seen either musical. Any more info on the character or musical would be good. would it be appropriate for a 17 year old girl to play this part in community theatre

Does this look like a good acting school. It is called "The Actor's Scene" this is the webite.

See i want to be an actor and this is the only acting place around that i know of. So, simply does this look like it would be a good place for learning and acting.
Please explore the site and tell me what you think.
