In the old days the epitome of world class theatre was the Moscow Art Theatre. In Britain there are two kinds - the 'star makers' and your regular English houses that turn out one fabulous actor after another. RADA and LAMBA, respectively. In America they are all still in New York: the Actor's Studio, HB Studio, The Neighborhood Playhouse, etc., then Julliard, the Stella Adler Conservatory, etc., and there's Yale and Harvard, NYU. If you are able, you should expose yourself to as much as possible. You will know when you find something that 'speaks' to you as an actor. And over time you develop your 'way of working'.
