I am auditoning for bye bye birdy and don't know what to sing. HELP!
i have an alto vocie

Well, the only alto role in the show is Rosie. She sings Spanish Rose in the show and does a good amount of killer dance moves. She's the secretary, speaks with a Spanish accent, and is very smart.

I would try:
Whatever Lola Wants - Damn Yankees
or A Little Brains A Little Talent - Damn Yankees
All That Jazz - Chicago
Not sure if a portion of Cell Block Tango would work...

Actually, the part of Albert's mother, Mae Peterson, is an alto part, too. She has two songs, and the part is a blast to play! Even though it is smaller, there is a lot you can do with the characterization. Just choose a song you feel comfortable with!

Hey, I was in this show when I was in school! One of my favorites. umm.... Any songs from Funny Girl would work, you could also try the title song from Anything Goes. Good Luck, and Have Fun
