i am nit sure they are in that time frame or not but i think i can name some famous ladies .Leslie uggums, Dinah Carroll, Eartha kitt. the ladies on the Jefferson's. ( Mrs. j Florence. jenny and Helen) also the ladies on the good times the mom . the daughter and the Friend next door and penny.as far as singer go - Leanna Horn Dorthy d. halle berry played her in a movie
