You've already gotten a synopsis, so...

May I present the cast:
Albert Peterson (Baritone, 28-37, dance, pratfalls)
President of Almaelou Music Corp. Birdie's manager. Sweet, but a pushover. Strong acting, good voice needed.
Rosie Alvarez (Alto, 26-35, true "triple-theat" role)
Albert's secretary - the real brain of the pair. Strong-willed, smart, of Spanish heritage, patience of a saint.
Kim MacAfee (Soprano/Mezzo, 15, high A)
Winner of the kissing contest. A typical 50's teenager. Pretty, self-confident. Strong acting and singing, group dancing.
Conrad Birdie (Baritone, Elvislike, 21-30, dance)
Handsome rockstar. Frustrated by those who run his career.
Suzie (Mezzo, 12-17)
A teenage fan of Conrad's.
Hugo Peabody (Non-Singing, 15-18)
Kim's dorky, jealous boyfriend.
Helen, Nancy, Margie, Alice, Penelope (Mezzo, dance)
A featured chorus of Conrad's fans.
Karl, Harvey Johnson (Baritone, 12-17, dance)
Boys to go with the girls in Sweet Apple.
Mr. Harry MacAfee (Baritone, Comedy, 40-55)
A typical old fashioned, grumpy father, frustrated with the behavior of "teenagers today". A comedic role. Singing is required but is not difficult.
Mrs. Doris MacAfee (Mezzo, 40-50)
Mr. MacAfee's supportive wife. Steady, calm, in control of a nervous, grouchy husband and a hysterical teenage daughter. Very little singing.
Randolph (Tenor, 10)
The MacAfee's son. Very little singing.
Mae Peterson (Non-Singing, Comedic, 55-75)
Albert's overbearing, controlling mother. Strong acting and good comic timing.
Ursula Merkel (Mezzo, 13-17, "triple-threat")
The hyper-enthusiastic leader of Conrad's teenage fans. Kim's best friend and neighbor.
Gloria Rasputin (Non-Singing, comedic, 21-30, tap dance)
Albert's mother's choice for Albert's new secretary. Tap dancing blonde bombshell.
Reporters, Policemen, Bartender, Stage Mngr. ,Conductor, Traveler, Mayor's Wife

I saw an alternate version of this show, it was called Bye Bye Greasie. I loved it. The main players were Brendan Small, Jason Penopolous, Shannon, and Melissa. It was awesome. They actually drove the car on stage and I thought Walter and Perry did an excellent job.

Haha! We're doing this play right now for our fall production.

Main characters are:
Albert Peterson
Rose Alverez
Kim MacAfee
Conrad Birdie

It is about Conrad Birdie, an Elvis-like character who is being shipped off the army. His manager and his secretary come up with idea for him to kiss one lucky fan for the last time before he goes into the army. When the name is drawn, Kim MacAfee learns that she was chosen. So Conrad goes to Sweet Apple, Ohio where he is due to kiss Kim.

The other side of it is that Albert loves Rosie. However, his mother diesn't approve. This musical is full of wit, sexual humor, and drama!

You'll like it. Trust me.

Anyways good luck to you!
xoxo

It's about this Elvis-like singer who comes to visit a small town, and all the drama that goes along with it. It is a BLAST to perform! Definitely try-out

BYE BYE BIRDIE is one of the most captivating musical shows of our time. It tells the story of a rock and roll singer who is about to be inducted into the army. The singer, Conrad Birdie, an Elvis Presley type, has a pompadour and thick sideburns; he wears gaudy gold costumes and speaks in a rugged voice. Albert Peterson, his agent, is a very pleasant mild mannered young man. Albert's faithful secretary Rose Alvarez keeps him and Birdie moving forward in the world. Rosie concocts one final national publicity plan before Conrad's induction.

Conrad will bid a typical American teen-age girl goodbye with an all-American kiss. Kim MacAfee in Sweet Apple, Ohio wins the honor. All of the phones in her town are already busy during The Telephone Hour as Kim has just been pinned to Hugo, a local boy. She is a pretty girl of fifteen and sings with springlike ardor How Lovely to Be a Woman, as she pulls on the plaid woolen socks and the baggy mustard colored sweater considered stylish and popular among young ladies.

The arrival of Birdie in Sweet Apple causes people of all ages to swoon. Birdie says that his success is due to the fact that he is Honestly Sincere when he sings, and the quiet little town goes into a spin. The MacAfee household is completely upset by the visiting celebrity. It is decided that Birdie will give his One Last Kiss on the Ed Sullivan show. Kim's father who laments the whole uproar, tries to break into the act and behaves like a ham on the TV show. Hymn for a Sunday Evening is a salute to the greater glory of Ed Sullivan.

Birdie becomes disgusted with his life and goes out on the town with the teenagers. He feels tense with Albert and is tired of being supervised. The parents of Sweet Apple cannot understand the new generation and express this in Kids. Rosie, still waiting for that band of gold from Albert after eight years, invades a Shriners' meeting. An extremely hilarious ballet ensues. She then decides to become the Latin American spitfire that she is painted as, by Albert's lead-footed catastrophe-ridden mother. She is determined to become Spanish Rose. Kim is reunited with Hugo, and Rose with Albert in the lovely number Rosie. Other hit numbers include A Lot of Livin' to Do and Put on a Happy Face.

BYE BYE BIRDIE is a satire done with the fondest affection. It gives an insight into the everyday life that is very much part of us all. It is the tops in imagination and frivolity; a show that will be enjoyed by the cast as much as the audience.
