Good Morning Everyone.. I emailed a production agency about an idea I had and they said "Why don't you email me a full script or treatment for an idea you have so I can get a sense of your writing style".. What does that mean? Can I just email her a symposis of the story? Is there a particular formatt that I need to be writing in? This means alot to me, and I want to make sure it's perfect..

I'm looking for an audition song from a Broadway musical for a female girl about 11-12 years old. Please don't suggest "Wicked" or similar-type shows- yes, Wicked is a great musical, but honestly, the range will be horrific for someone so young who hasn't developed her belting power yet.

Basically, the song should be:
- Uptempo
- Alto-Low Soporano Range
- Broadway
- Not inappropriate - it's for a middle school production!

Thanks in advance, everyone. :)

Need a good one-act play for a mid-sized cast, around 10-15, has to be a clean play because we go to a Christian school and they won't allow any profanity. Also has to be drama, no comedies. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Okay in January our school is going to have auditions for the musical Godspell...

This Fall I auditioned for the play A Connecticut Yankee in King Arther's Court, but I didn't get a part. Ms. Lip (The Drama teacher) was kind enough to offer me a job on stage crew even though the crew was full. I accepted...I mean atleast I get to be envoled...but I was sad because I really wanted to be on stage.

Now I have another chance. The auditions for Godspell is coming up soon. I am not the best singer in the world, but hey not alot of people at our school are.

I am just worried I won't get a part...I want to be on stage...I hate watching from behind the scenes.

I looked into Godspell and saw it only had 10 parts...which scared me alot...then my friend told me there are alot of chorus parts...is this correct?

How can I show the Drama Teacher I want to be on stage and how can I do the best job and guarente atleast a part.

Thanks!

I really want to become an actress. I don't need to be famous or rich. I just really want to act. Becoming famous, would be nice. I would really love it, but i no that is a pretty hard goal. What i need to no is the skill you need, and how to start off. Also convincing your parents. My mom told me i am not that good at taking rejection. I no that once i got started, my family would support, but for all those actresses and actors out there, give my your advise, thank you

PS: i am almost turning 14, oh and thats another thing, will it be harder starting acting at such a late age?

Acting agents, who get you roles in something. Yes I do have experience, I am in drama club and have been in lots of plays.

How much are agents, and are they worth it?

When an audition notice says:

2 females, ages 20-30

do they mean that the females have to be between that age...or they have to look that age?

Ok, so once my drama teacher printed a list off the internet of different kinds of charcaters and their personalities and told us to write a soap opera. It wasn't people from an already existing soap opera, just character discription. If anyone knows where I can find anything like that, help!
