What type of singing are you taking about? Opera, pop, musical theatre, etc... Also, websites may give you advice, but you need a professional voice teacher who will help you in person, not a website who's advice is flat on a screen and not personal. You can hurt your voice irrepairably by doing the wrong thing.

That said, you should stretch, make sure to release any tension in your neck and shoulders. Warm up your voice with humming, scales, etc. Don't force yourself to sing beyond your range or harder (beltier) than you're used to without a professional's guidance.

I can't really tell you about auditions without knowing what you want to sing.

good luck,
Marianne

to improve singing, i guess you need to practise more, i don't think its a good idea to train online, 88db site has various vocal courses you can attend
