ok so in my school im doing this huge school play and i am one of the leads. i'm really scared of all those ppl. im usually not scared when im just with the teacher or just my friends or just like a few classmates. but then now my drama teacher chose me to be a lead. i never actually wanted to do drama. i just wanted to do it cuz my friends wanted to do it. so then i do it and then i find out that the teachers didn't put them into drama so then i am all alone:( meaning none of my friends are in the same class as me. and the people in the drama class..i barely even know anyone!! they are all basically complete strangers!!! so my question is ...what do i do when i have stage fright???? or if i freak out right in front of everyone?? i really don't wanna make a fool of my self!! so does anyone have tips or tricks or anythingg???? please answerr!!!!!!!!! thankss!!!!!=D

A couple weeks ago, I posted a question about Little Shop of Horrors. Well, I'm being called back! I'm super excited. I'm just wondering what callbacks entail, and if there's any way I can prepare. (I've been in plays before, but none of them used the callback system.)

What are some acting agencies? I need their address to mail them a video shot of an audtion (don't worry its professional) and I need ALOT of help! I know that you shouldn't pay for agents, and that you need a head shot and a letter of some sort (mine's below) but that's about all. How long do agents take to get back to you? I live in a really small town about an hour away from Palm Beach....... where do I find addresses to send out my letter and head shot and DVD? HELP PLEASE!!!

And follow the link to my letter: (is it good?)

Dear Sir or Madam:

My name is Elizabeth ------- and I am 14 years old. Enclosed in this package is a video shot of my sister and I for the “Clique Movie” try-outs. Sadly, we missed the online entrance date by a few hours, which is why we are contacting you. We would like for you to sponsor us. We believe that we both have the talent and the drive to succeed, how ever; we have no way to do so with out you. We do not expect to be able to make the “Clique” auditions, (we wanted too, but they will most likely be over before by the time we are able to contact one another) however, there will be other opportunities, and we hope to be able to seize them. Thank you for your time, and please read the next page for more information.

The next page has our DOB, eye color, hair color...... ect. ect.

If it's bad please tell me, but no rude put downs... PLEASE!

I'm auditioning for the part of Meg in a high school rendition of Brigadoon, and I'm not sure if I should wear a nice blouse and look professional or try to dress the part so it would be easier for the director to see me as the character. Brigadoon takes place in Scotland in the 1800s, so if I dressed the part I would probably be wearing a long, grey pleated skirt with a tunic style shirt. If I dress nicely I'll be wearing a black shirt with lace cap sleeves and jeans with ballet flats.

I am currently taking an acting class in school, and we were wondering what plays we could potentially perform. We would not charge admission to the play, and would do an abridged version of it. Also, this play would be considered more of a "learning experience" so we wouldn't really want to pay for the script. Does anyone know some plays that we can do or a website that tells me this information? Thanks so much!

Hey guys, I want to move to Canada to become an actor. I'm actually in Canada right now visiting my aunt
and friends. While I was here I entered a little something (I wont go into to much detail) that made me want to come back and become an actor. But heres the problem, I look pretty ok in real life, but on camera my nose is curved. Really badly. I want to be an actor but before I follow my dream I want to at least make sure my nose is in proportion. Trust me guys, it's pretty bad. On camera anyway. So, how can I get this fixed and is there a way that doesn't include plastic surgery? Btw, I'm 15 if anyone want to know. And yes I know it's wrong t want nose fixing at this age but it's really bad on camera. And what if it starts looking like that in real life?

Thanks guys!

Btw, my favorite actor is Micheal Seater. Just throwing that out there^-^

I have my photo and resume ready and that is all that it said to bring, but it said nothing about a monologue or what will be going on. Can anyone tell me what to expect to do, or what they think will be going on from prior experiences. I know they may be looking for a certain look or type of teen, but I dont want to be caught off guard, so I'm stressing over nothing right now. Has anyone ever gone to an open call that said nothing about cold readings or prepared monologue, but they still expected you to have one? The details are, tommorrow at 2:00pm to 5:00pm and they are looking for 7-17 year old males to play principal and extra roles. Its for a film and is being held by an agency around here. Thank you for your time and hopefully effort, used to construct an answer.
