Which musical do you like most?
Musicals like "Miss Saigon", "Les Miserables", "The Phantom of the Opera", "Cats", "The Sound of Music", "My Fair Lady", "Oliver!", "Five Guys Named Moe", "West Side Story" etc.
And please give reasons.

Rent because it is so beautiful and romantic i totally love rent! And west side story i cried and i never cry!

Phantom of the Opera!!! It's a beautiful love story and when I saw it I was moved to tears. The music is wonderful and I think they are some of the best of it's genre.

Light in the Piazza is my favorite: I love the story and the simple treatment it received on stage. (No Cadillacs flying through the air)
Secondly, I like Aida - I like the comic relief and the exotic Egyptian setting
Third: Evita. I love the music
Fourth: Les Miserables. Great story, great sets.

It used to be Phantom of the Opera..... that was until I saw Wicked. Wicked is amazing.. funny, dramatic, suspenseful... The writing is excellent and the talent is first rate.... If you are in the Los Angeles area, I highly recommend seeing it w/ Eden Espinosa as Alphaba... she is unbelievable!

i hate phantom, huge letdown for me. But i do like "all i ask of you"
havent seen miss saigon and 5 guys named moe
i love all the rest though.
but my fave of all times is RENT.

Godspell - it is an affirmation of faith and a ritual reenactment of the founding of Christianity, exactly what theatre should be, a religious ritual.
I also like Celebration by Jones and Scmidt, another ritual.
And Man of La Mancha, one of the most inspiring of all shows.

My favorite is probably Tanz der Vampire. I adore the songs and characters very much, and the music is terrific!

les mis/blood brothers joint fave
les mis cos of the music,sets,good story(romance and a good death)
blood brother, sad, funny and tell me its not true is a beautiful but haunting song
ave q american humour which i understand, very rude show but bloody funny
starlight express sheer escapism
taboo(london version) gritty ,funny beautiful music
little shop of horrors dark funny, great music
these show i mentioned are the uk versions, which sometimes differ from the us shows i saw les mis in the us and wasn't keen it was like i was watching a different show but maybe the cast just didn't do it for me, which often happens here in the uk too, i like blood brothers but sometimes have gone to see the show but not enjoyed it as much,maybe i'm just way to picky!
that just some of my faves it'll prob be easier to ask which shows i don't like.

Chicago the musical, its the best! its sexy and we are byast as our best mates played velma kelly and roxie hart in it not so long ago!
