I'm not related to anyone famous, but I have met some famous people, and still keep in touch with some of the bands.

I have blue blood! I'm a descendant of King Louis XVI. My father grew up in Oyster Bay, New York with Billy Joel. He still talks about how at parties, Mr. Joel would play songs on the piano and nobody would pay attention - songs such as "Piano Man" (I don't know if that's actually one of the ones he played) that have made him famous.

I'm not related to anyone famous, but I live near John Mellencamp and have taken several oil painting classes with him. He's pretty talented with a paint brush, too.

He's a really down-to-earth guy, that probably doesn't surprise anyone. He does smoke a lot, though.

I'm friends with one person who is in the Rock-n-Roll Hall of fame who shall remain nameless (he doesn't like his name tossed about), plus I am personal friends with several musicians, including Blodie from the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Henry Butler. A close friend of mine was featured in the movie "Ray" as one of Ray Charles band members (trumpet). I have another good friend who regularly does nonspeaking parts and has had roles in over a dozen movies. I also know many well known jazz as well as R&B musicians as I work in the music industry.

I went out once with Flea after a show. I have met countless others in the genre of punk and alternative music mostly from the 80's and 90's. One of my favorite memories is standing in the wings of Red Rocks on the fourth of July with John Wesley Harding and Les Claypool watching X sing the song fourth of July.

I met Brad Pitt my freshman year in college. He dated my roommate for a while. He was not famous then.

I have attending meetings regarding my alma mater with Dawn Wells, who is mostly known for playing "Mary Ann" of Gilligan's Island as well as Patricia Barry who has done countless TV roles, including several Soap Operas.

I was friends with the tragic Margaret Trigg who played the mother in the very bad "Aliens in the Family."

My first roommate in college was Mimi Kincade who was the "sexy & seventeen" girl for the Stray Cats video and she also did dancing in some commercials and did some cameos on "momma's family."
