Big R doesn't mean to be mean, he is a good reality check.

To get started as a model/actor: first you need your parents' solid backing. You need to pay for lessons and to be ferried about for different things, there are books you need to buy,

You will eventually have to get an agent, but not until you are ready and prepared to do so. Yes, you need to be very talented before you go to the agency because you have to competer with the best actors in the world. You obviously have no concept of acting as a career, because the lowest level of professional employment is extra work and the highest is commercials.

Once you have your parents' approval and backing, you need to get into drama class and all the plays at school,, you need to take professtional lessons, especially in the summer, and once you graduate HS, you may be ready for an agent. But you have to do a lot of plays and take a few acting classes,

An actor spends 1% of his time acting and 99% of his time looking for a job. It takes years of hard work to be an actor.

Still want to try? If you have your parents' backing, click on my name, read my profile and contact me at my aol address and I will try to help you become and actor. That is what I do, and I do it for free.

Well the first thing you going to need is education in acting/modelling. Then you can start thinking about getting experience at a low level and that will probebly leave you with a headshot and some sort of portfolio to show. Just ask for picture and videos being taken any time you act/do modelling.

Then you can start thinking about getting an agent.

To be a real star you have to be among the top in the world of actors/modells and thus say you need to be realy good or have something that stands out in a positive matter. Some sort of Wow feeling around you. Good luck! Johan.

You don't just start out doing commercials. You'll need years of training and amateur experience before anyone would consider signing you. Honestly, do you look like a model? Less than one percent of the population can model. In any given two week period on this forum alone more kids ask how they can get into show business than there are kid actors who book a job in a year. Do a search. You'll see. The fact is with no training, no experience and no knowledge of how the business works adds up to no chance. And your age is against you also. They almost always hire 18 year olds to play teens. If you want to act do it in school and a kid's theater group. Sounds to me like you are just interested in making money and not much else. You should probably forget the whole thing.

Actors use head shots and models use composit cards (comp cards or z cards). Photographers charge different rates so I cannot tell you about how much it would cost. I do want to warn you, if this company is trying asking for money from you, I would not do it. There are alot of scams out there. You can send your own head shots and resume to agents without them. Plus when you sign, most likely the agent you sign with will want you to pay for classes even if you already have taken them.

take some acting courses and some modeling courses, yes you'll need an agent. also look online, when i was looking for a job last summer they had a listing for people who were casting people as extras in movies, it was good money but you probably had to travel, but hey if you do that you could get lucky and get noticed by someone in the industry on the set

The best way for afifteen year old to get started: earn a high school diploma to show that you are smart and goal oriented; and follow that same criteria to achieve modelling success.

You have absolutely no chance. You need to get a REAL education and prepare for life. Quit trying to find the easy way.
