I'm auditioning for a show and I can't find the sheet music that I need. I'm going to be using Out Tonight from RENT and I would really REALLY appreciate it if someone would be kind enough to send me an email with the music. I'm looking for the sheet music for piano accomanyment. If you've got it, PLEASE send it?? Best answer will be chosen to the person who can supply first... :o)

I'm auditioning for Children of Eden next weekend. I just found out about the audition today and I'm not too familiar with the show. I know the music is Stephen Schwartz, but I don't want to use Wicked for the audition b/c it's just too overdone now. I don't think anything from Godspell would work well either.

I've only got 30 seconds.

I'm a Soprano 2/Alto 1 mostly, but can go higher.

what role does irene play in footloose?

i have never seen the musical but i think she sings let's make belive we're in love (i love that song)

but what else does she do, i know she sings in lets hear it for the boy a bit too but what else?

Looking at my notes - I think your piece from Our Town was solid - good focus, fairly relaxed movement. Vocally projection was good - some minor diction to work on. My overall impression was that of a technically sound monologue that I didn't feel you were quite connected with emotionally - I would have liked to have seen you increase the stakes a bit more.

That being said, I thought your work was strong, but without being a singer - I really had no real place to put you in our season - the opportunities this year for folks your age are really in the Christmas show and require strong singers.

what is "diction" exactly and does it sound that they would have taken me if i sang and was a good singer?

I would love to be an actor for disney channel and i am working hard to get it. I am also taking theater classes. i am 15 years old. how do you find out when they need roles? how do you contact disney channel? What do i need to do? i dont really have guidence to these things so i need step by step guidence please!!! And even if i dont get a part i would rather look back knowing that i tried than looking back never knowing. thank you.

I am auditioning for Oliver and Children of Eden next weekend.

Would anyone use the song "But you go on" from Annie Warbucks as an audition piece? Its a fun belty number... my only concern is that the best part is the end, so you would have to find a good place in the middle to start a 16 bar audition...

Hey, My Whole life I have been an Actor/Singer. My Parents have always been WAY unsupportive. I know that if my parents REALLY wanted to help me, the would have done something pro-active by now. Every step I have taken in my Career has been on my own, My mom always tells me that just because I'm good looking, doesn't mean I have to be famous, that there is alot more in acting then just that, But I understand that. I'm REALLY good. Every part I have ever auditioned for I end up getting it, and I have been the lead in every play I ever ever Tryed out for. I am trying so hard to make it on my own, but I can't even get my parents to drive me to my auditions 95% of the time. And we live like 30 minutes away from a Studio. How can I convince my parents how much I want this, and how good I am. Or if thats impossable, how can I go farther in my Career on my own? Thanks for reading this long *** question, I just think its important you get all the Details. Sorry for Typos, i typed this fast.

If you're auditioning for an agent, should you get a real play monologue? Is it wrong to use one from a book of monologues or from the internet? Can you write one or have one written for you? This is for a teenager. Will they ask you where the monologue is from? What kind of questions do they ask about your monologue?
