i heard it on the finale of america's got talent but i know i've heard it before so i was wondering if its from a musical or not. i'm looking for a good audition peice and i felt that song was good.

I would strongly recommend not using it for auditions. It's long been overdone -- a lot of men use it.
It's one of those songs that's the equivalent of a child belting out "Tomorrow" from Annie -- rather than impress the auditors with your talent, they'll very possibly be more fixated on thinking, "Oy, not this song AGAIN."
