I am 12 years old. I have had alot of acting experiance already and I really would like start auditioning for more exciting things like commercials, TV shows, movies, Broadway muscials, etcetera... I live in the New York City area and I already have headshots and a large resume. I know all about agencies, but I don't have one. I think that agencies would like to represent someone who already has experiance on television, movies, or broadway. So if you know of any good websites for getting safe acting or modeling jobs please tell me about them!

I'd like to know how much does it cost to buy the rights to a Broadway Musical. I'm in the performing arts center at my school, and I'd like to know for future refrence when we choose plays for next year (I'll be a 10th grader!), the plays I am considering are

Grease
Hairspray
The King and I
Cats
and that's all I can think of.

If you have anymore great musicals and how much the rights cost to that particular one, please tell me.

Hey. I've acted in plays for about three years. It's fun and all but I know it's not for me. I'm told I'm good and I really want to try movies. I have an agent and can easily get a headshot but I need a monologue. I want something that says "I have talent." Maybe from someone catty. But I don't want to look like a diva because I really am not. I want something with.. character. Wordplay. I want it to be humorous but also I want to show that I can make you think, not just laugh. I want to make a great impression and I really don't want to end up like Steve Martin or Jim Carrey, who play the exact same person every time. I want to show my deep side. Haha. I know it's confusifying but that's what I want. Any ideas.

First I should give some backround on my acting:
I've done about 10 plays
I've gotten a scholarship for a acting camp and gone
I've done a few classes
I am in drama class at school
I am a freshman

I would like to be in a disney channel or nickalodian show or movie.
I am also looking for a agent...That is decent and will get me auditions.
I live in Northern Michigan.
Any websites will help.
Or any help at all....On a freshman getting acting jobs...
By the way...Do i need to be union to be on Disney or Nick.

does anyon eknow how to audition or anything for a movie or tv show? i have been acting for 6 years now and gone to so many theater summer camps. my teachers have given me numbers to different agencies and things but they dont have anything open.
so if anyone knows of anyone or has anything open please help.

My 12 year old daughter is auditioning for a community theater play and has to do a one minute performance of a poem, book passage, favorite movie scene, etc. We have no experience with this and were wondering if anyone could give us some tips. She wants to do a passage from a book she's reading. Does she just memorize it? Is she supposed to "perform" it with appropriate gestures and voice inflections? Or does she "perform" it as if she's the storyteller? Any tips would be very helpful! Thanks!
