yea when i watched it i waz totally lookin forward 2 it,,but towards the middle,,i turned it off,cuz they totally ruined it..id say it waz HORRIBLE

Haven't seen it yet, till it airs on disney channel. The first one sucked coz they repeated too many times! Can't they just wait before showing? Crap. Life isn't as sweet as they make it out to be/

I didn't like it very much. It was okay, but for the most part it was the same overused Disney themes and storylines that they use for every other movie. (Note the similarites between HSM2 and Read it and Weep) It especially bugged me that everyone kept saying in their interviews that we were going to see a new side to Sharpay. (Often referred to as a moment of weakness as well.) We didn't see a new side, we just saw an expansion on her already spoiled bratty self. When she broke down at the end and was all whiney and crying because she didn't get to sing with Troy, then everyone was all sad for her or whatever, I was just like "She already gets everything she wants! She deserved to not sing with him!" Anyway, it really bugged me. And it didn't have fun harmonies that I could sing, which is mostly what got me through the last one. Overall, I give it a 3 out of 10.

I saw bits of the first one, and I really don't understand the appeal. The characters have no dimension, the songs lack originality, the plot is boring....
I thought it was aimed toward 7-12 year-olds, however people much older have purchased the sound track..???
I find the phenomena bizarre and tiresome

I hate both movies, their corny. I did not even watch them I just think all that singing is sooooooo WACK! And I'm definitely tired of seeing Ashley Tisdale and Zach Efron all over the damn place. ENOUGH ALREADY WITH THE HSM!!!!!!

i in my view enjoyed lots of the songs, and as familiar, i enjoyed sharpays dresser, in spite of if it did no longer look too super, in spite of if it did attraction to 17.2 million visitors (making it the main watched cable telecast & television action picture), it additionally gave the hot hannah montana 10.7 million visitors (i think of it become on good after hsm2). i become kinda dissapointed, yet i assume thats purely because of the fact i do no longer relatively like vanessa hudgens as gabriella, and that i hate zac efrons hair, in hairspray his hair become surprising! i additionally had very severe expectancies based on the 1st one, however the sequel in no way is as stable. however the song and choreography have been, as predicted, outstanding. I heard they're making hsm3, with a bit of luck it is going to likely be extra advantageous then the 2d (i wish its storyline is larger).
