I'm auditioning for Children of Eden next weekend. I just found out about the audition today and I'm not too familiar with the show. I know the music is Stephen Schwartz, but I don't want to use Wicked for the audition b/c it's just too overdone now. I don't think anything from Godspell would work well either.

I've only got 30 seconds.

I'm a Soprano 2/Alto 1 mostly, but can go higher.

Well, he also wrote Working, Pippin & The Baker's Wife.

If nothing from those shows works for you, you can try:

Here In Eden – The Apple Tree
Home – Beauty and the Beast
How Could I Ever Know – Secret Garden (too slow?)
Poor Wandering One – Pirates of Penzance (? maybe)
The Past Is Another Land – Aida

I went kind of soft in my suggestions. If you want more character, I can make more suggestions. I don't know the show well either. If you say more about the character you want, that would help.
