hahahaha sorry I'm not really going to cut myself!!!

In my theatre art class tomorrow, my friend and I are going to do a skit in where one of us cuts ourselves. (not really of course) and we can't bring any REAL stuff like razors or we'll get in major trouble. So for our skit, what can we use? Things like aluminum foil or what?

Please no rude suggestions :(

This week, the stage manager of the drama club I'm in asked me if I would like to be assistant stage manager. Of course I said yes, because I'm only a freshmen and since I didn't get a part in the upcoming play, I wanted to be a part of backstage. But I didn't actually know what they do. Does anyone know? Many websites are scamming actors by charging them for auditions and casting calls listings. Casting calls do not cost those websites a penny! So why do they charge actors for it? We are making a research to see - Which websites except http://www.actorspages.org give 100% FREE auditions and casting calls information???

I have wanted to become an actor for some time now, but recently I have questioned my thoughts about it. I'm not sure if the only reason I feel I want to become one is the "being famous" part. I imagine myself in big movies and although I would be willing to go through whatever hard work necessary to become one I'm not sure if it's really for me. I'm not sure if this is my passion or if I want this for other reasons. Has anyone felt this way about this type of career or another like it? If you did, did you try to pursue it?How did it work out?

I'm considering trying to do a stage version of Ingemar Bergman's classic movie "Seventh Seal". As far as I can tell its never been staged. Do I need to get some kind of rights for it? I have a Swedish to english translation of the script from the movie already. I would probably have to re-write it to turn it into a full length play as the movie is only about 100 minutes long.
