In my theatre art class tomorrow, my friend and I are going to do a skit in where one of us cuts ourselves. (not really of course) and we can't bring any REAL stuff like razors or we'll get in major trouble. So for our skit, what can we use? Things like aluminum foil or what?
Please no rude suggestions :(

Hey I'm not sure what your budget is but you could buy a plastic knife. If you really want it to look real, corn syrup and food colouring make really great fake blood. I used to use it at the theatre all the time. Another option is a cardboard cut out of a knife and then pick up some crome spray paint.Good luck and happy acting.

Buy a the Grim Riper plastic Seth ,or try to come up with ideas to make a spear of a stick,aluminum foil ,and carbor.If can't ,try asking your teacher or someone that can help you come up with a fake weapon and telling you how and what supplies you need and how to make it.Final try to order some special effects from Hollywood if it possible.

Try a cardboard cut of a knife with ketchup on the edge to add that real bloody effect you can add the ketchup during the skit to make it look real by hiding it in the hand with the knife and skwirt while you cut.

Cut a knife out of cardboard and cover the tip with aluminum foil and the handle with some kind of cloth, or you can go to the store and check out the Halloween section.

They make plastic little knifes. Or yes you could wrap a plastic butter knike with aluminum foil. Good Luck Hope its goes well

I wouldent use aluminum foil bcuz hat could hurt, you sould get a piece of gray felt and wrap it around a piece of cardboard make the tip look sharp! Hope i helped good luck!

get a toy sword or something you can always find swords and stuff at toy stores like the dollar store or use a plastic knife or you can take poster board and draw a real knife on it and then cut it out and cover it with aluminum foil and take a handle and use it,...

A common weapon that self-abusers use is paper clips. Realistic for the story but I am not sure how well it will read from the stage.
