I am there. I have the job and income I wished for. Have you changed your life, what are you doing now?

...because that was an unlucky number for him, so I offered a flight on Sept.11th, and he said that would be fine.

Do you think his primitive superstitious number phobia is a little whacked? I mean...9/11 isn't exactly the "luckiest" date in the airline biz, right?
(true fact: Since 9/11, all planes on 9/11 are always full or over-capacity...people actually make it a point to fly on that date...which is my mother's birthday...)
Why would that be the case? Morbid curiosity? Death Wish? Wanna kick booty on some terrorists? What?
Doesn't the facts of this question make you wonder about people's intelligence?

Or just the same?

There are still mostly asking the same kind of questions today than they were yesterday.

Should we expect or not expect someone to love us? Is it selfish to say that we deserve love? Furthermore, does anyone deserve to be loved?

Why should someone love you?

Is life meaningless? If it isn't, then where can I find this so called "meaning"? But first, you must prove that life isn't meaningless. See, now that's the sort of question I would ask. Also, should access to the Internet be free? Why?

...when the heart leads the way.

Since all perception is observer based how can we be sure of any event at any time is happening the way that we understand it to be happening.

For example, two men with guns walk into a bank carrying bags. Three people see this and see three different things.
Person one sees the guns and the bags and believes that it is a robbery.
Person two sees the guns and the insignia on the bags and believes they are guards transporting valuables to the bank.
Person three sees the bags and remembers the men’s faces from the news as being plain clothed police officers investigating a robbery.

Three people see the same event and come to three different conclusions, and while I know that this event is out of context and they would all know soon enough what was happening the old adage is true, first impressions last. So my question is...

How can we trust our perception of events at any time if we are unable to determine the truth behind a situation in the moment?

Please explain your reasoning.

Thanks.

If you try to talk to them they will answer but it seems that once your mind realizes what you are doing it shakes you out of it and you lose the connection. What is this?

I have come to the determination and conclusion that self-absorption is actually good. It DOESN'T mean selfishness, but focusing on the self to realize what is a good life, improve introspection to work on weaknesses, intellect, habits, change bad to good habits, realize the wrong one may have done to others, feel remorse, reflect, etc.

I have 3-5 days left before I have to declare what my "graduation project" is going to be, and I can't think of how exactly to go about doing it. I know I want to do something dealing with philosophy. We have to write an 8-10 page paper, which obviously won't be a problem with philosophy; however, We also have to have a physical product to go along with it. This must:

-be student generated and should be based on the research paper.
-provide tangible evidence that reflects the “academic learning stretch” experienced by the student.
-be oriented around the performance of a skill, the production of a product, or the study of a profession
-i must also spend at least 15 hours outside of school doing it.

If anyone has ideas for a philosophy related 'physical product' I would greatly appreciate it. Also if you know of any books that would help me out on the paper, product, or general pursuit of philosophical knowledge that would be fantastic.

Often wondered if intelligence IS indeed a key factor in couple happiness. The difference of intelligence can inhibit communication, problem solving, and decision-making as a "family".
