Well, you'll have to be a little more specific. Child labor in Asian sweatshops, bad. A kid mowing my lawn, ok.

Hard work never hurt anyone. A 12 year old is often as large as an adult. At this age, 12 yrs, a child knows right from wrong. To work in the home at this age or to work for the family at this age, I see nothing wrong with it if it doesn't make the child neglect his/her homework. School is the number one job for a child this age. Working for the family is secondary. I believe idle hands are the devil's workshop. All children should know chores and responsibility within the home. It makes for a better child. Raising a rebellious child is not good for anyone, not the family, not the school, not the church, not the community, not the state and not the nation.

Child labor should be severely regulated, if not totally outlawed. I don't even like to work and I'm an adult!

Take cheap, easy labor when/wherever you can get it. This is the mindset of those who run the corporations in this world.
