What actually sets your standard for morals and values? Do you concider kindness necessary or insignificant? Do you consider the human race an accident of nature, or purposeful? How do you define your existence?

...and thus deny the true definition of God.

Therefore, one can only know God without religion or defining what god means. Thus, the universe is not self aware within the context of our thinking as it is neither a being nor a consciousness.

I lost my job by being honest and everyone has said it was not meant to be and God has different plans for me. Bigger, even. I did not see it but now I am an office manager and keeping my boss's business afloat. I do it all and am the reason they are surviving. I think I am more important to him than at the job I was doing. I may be even keeping him alive.

What do yo think of this saying:

"Money doesn't buy you happiness, it only buys you choices."

Do you feel that if you had a great windfall tomorrow that it will only bring on more choices on what to do with your life, but it is only those choices that will make you happy in life, not the money?

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate; our deepest dear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, who am i to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? Your playing small doesn't serve the world. we were born to make maifest the glory of god that is within us. and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same."

Nelson Mandela

My question is EXPLAIN WHAT THIS QUOTE MEANS TO YOU. WHAT IS IT SAYING TO YOU? DESCRIBE WHAT IT MAKES YOU FEEL WANT TO DO OR SAY AND HOW IT MAKES YOU FEEL. TRY TO GIVE ATLEAST 5-7 SENTENCES.

I'm not talking about emotional breakdown suicide but rather a conscious rational choice the subject has made after a calm deliberation.(something like in the film The hours), or maybe you could even think of western methaphysics in which once the individual has "liberated" himself from this world and has achieved awareness of the methaphysical thruths about the world, this individual is allowed to "physically" leave before nature takes its inevatable course. Sometimes I think that people have submerged so much in the denial of our own mortality seeing suicide as an act that brings an effect that otherwise wouldn't had never ocurred (such as.. dieing). so, here I leave you with my oh-so-lovely question..

I mean, I can't stand spiders anyway. I would rather they came to Vermont with tractors and knock down all the trees so maybe it would seem more sunny. And that's good unicorn-watchin' weather right there. And then guess what? No more Forest = No more Rain..... Voila! I just solved the whole kit & kabootle. So now we can move on to bigger issues like Unicorn preservation.

for me..photography and books are what i live for.taking pictures just opens my eyes to new things and creating memories to share..making it more beautiful and meaningful.
and reading...just lets you think.. explore other imaginations and feel the way they do about things. and fantasy is quite my favorite...dreaming of a whole new world or species etc

tell me what you live for and your thoughts
