I lost my job by being honest and everyone has said it was not meant to be and God has different plans for me. Bigger, even. I did not see it but now I am an office manager and keeping my boss's business afloat. I do it all and am the reason they are surviving. I think I am more important to him than at the job I was doing. I may be even keeping him alive.

there's a difference between having "unfastened will" and having an unchanging character that can't be swayed via circumstances. Psalms a hundred and fifteen:3 yet our God is in heaven; He does notwithstanding He pleases. Acts 15:18 "basic to God from eternity are all His works. Malachi 3:6 "For i'm the LORD, i do no longer exchange; hence you're actually not ate up, O sons of Jacob.

Life is full of just plain bad luck, but people say it's "god's plan," like that's some sort of consolation. Do you really want to believe in a deity who meddles in and micromanages peoples' lives, causing bad things to happen to them?

Quite frankly I've been in the same position you're in--being the sole person keeping a company afloat. I also happen to be an atheist. I don't see any mysterious "plan" at work anywhere.

Whether you believe or not, the simple truth is that sometimes bad things happen to good people. It's how the world works. A good life with no bad occurrences is not something that is handed to each of us on a silver platter. The best we can do is to minimize the bad occurrences in our lives by being rational and good people.

Wonderful. God's plan is always better although it may not seem like it while changes are happening. It has happened to me over and over. I, finally, at the age of 40 gave into the changes and decided to go with God's divine path without worrying that the outcome will be negative. I have way too many to list but may I say this....ask for the divine plan your were born to live and you shall recieve it. Only if you stop fighting against it.

God says no to my plans and I say no to his. Probably the reason why I alway feel lost.
That's how my life seems to go, I am enjoying something and some wierd occurence happens that completely destroys it then I find something to replace the thing I lost, but I hate it and it never seems to end... no matter what I do.

By the way, you are not an idiot.. that is a perfectly acceptable question.
