Or which would you rather do, be servile and very highly paid, or be free and work long arduous hours accumulating minimum wages? Or would you rather sacrifice your dignity and health to have that $250,000.00 house and the luxury car, have your children go to Harvard or Yale, or... be basically healthy and answer only to the landlord, & live in that trailer park on the edge of over there?

Granted there are many more options, but hey, this is a game here. Play it or not, as you will.

Sometimes I wish to offer a thought on an interesting question but it gets resolved quickly. Sometimes I have worked on an answer for a good while and am too late to get it in and I would send it by email if I could.

For instance:

All Catholics (A) are Christians (B), but not all Christians (B) are Catholics (A).

I'm going insane trying to remember what type of logical argument that is. Any help?

During the 1950s a song popular on the radio was the admonishment:

"Don't go courtin' in a hot-rod
But in a buggy, like your mom and dad"

Which was right?

Do you know what is worse that missing something you never had?
Letting go of something you really wanted!
Lying to yourself just so that you can feel better!
Wanting something that is already someone else's!
Accepting tha choices others make even if it hurts!
Continuously wandering on the what if's!
Giving up something that was rightfully yours!
Crying about it and knowing it doesn't change a thing!

What, precisely, is truth?

Not a dictionary definition, but how can you be sure that something is true?

Straightforward enough. You exist, you consume, you destroy, you die, and you probably don't contribute a lot to society, the earth, or the unverse. How do you justify your existence? How is it a positive thing that you exist?
