I've had bad feeling before anything went wrong a few time to say the least, and even when I did the other person involved did what they wanted to do anyhow, so it really didnt matter what I said, there mind was made up. but ah well, when its just me, choosing not to argue with the feeling has always turned out to be a good thing, so yes somewhat you could live a better life in that respect.

I don't think so.

You'll always be restricting yourself from trying things, taking risks and making mistakes. This is all part of learning, and without learning whats 'wrong' how can we learn whats 'right'?
To achieve we look back on our past experiences and mistakes, so that we can move forward, seeking progression.

Not only this, but a 'bad' feeling to some, may be a 'good' feeling to others. A lot of criminals commit offences out of the 'buzz' or 'adrenalin rush' - in other words because it feels 'good'. Therefore, the bad feeling would have to come in the package of doing something positive and good.

Some people have had a 'bad' feeling before a certain situation, but unless you act on that feeling - you cannot have 'worse' or 'better'.

Thank You! :-)

Some do have unhealthy feelings before they act. But then regret doing it after. Our conscious is always working it is just pushed aside by other feelings. So when I find my self wanting to do something I know is unhealthy I have to stop and ask my self, Will this serve the better good or am I just charging forward ignoring my better judgment. I am no saint but I am in a progress. Just tonite I regretted being mean to a person who attacked me on this forum. I turned back to her and said some judgmental and venom dripping words. I know that I want to be better than that, but once I hammer the nail in the wood though I am may apologized and take the nail out the hole is still left in the wood. Shoulda coulda woulda is not how I want to be examining my life. So in saying my life will only be better if I stop and examine my conscious and do not allow fear control me and causing me to respond in anger.

I believe that we would live better lives if we were able to feel bad before doing something. I know for myself that there are times when I have said something and wished that I could take it back because I felt so bad afterwards, however, if I had received that same feeling of uneasiness before saying "it" I would not have to have those feelings of "I wish I hadn't said that", or "I wish that I hadn't done that". So in retrospect I can only speak for myself, but I know in my heart that the world and those in the world would be better if something "hit us upside our heads" before we did something wrong.

Hi,
Good and bad feelings are arising from with in which is from the subtle consiousness. If we know that if I do this wrong some one will be affected sure no one will do it. But, in the contrary why the terrorist are boomed and developed. For you its wrong but for them it is right. Its all the bad karma's or samskaras which we're carrying and never feel to leave it.

The moment you felt what you're going do is wrong better don't do it. If you can over come the bad feeling sure you can win every thing you do.

May God Bless.

If you had a bad feeling about something then it is wrong to do it. You know that, or should. I wished we would listen more to our guides in life than do what the devil want's us to do. But sometimes it takes you doing something wrong for you to learn life's lesson's. You cannot teach someone else on your experiences, sometimes they have to learn the hard way. The bad part is you learn nothing from the mistakes that you make.

You know most people do have those bad feeling ,or thoughts, or doubts, it usually means you feel guilt or not sure if you should do what you are thinking about doing, which comes to the old saying, when in doubt don't do it or when in doubt throw it out., it is what some people call a premonition , but if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs most likely not to have any inhibitions about it and feel guilty later.

I actually think we do have that "bad feeling" before we do something wrong. A moral feeling perhaps. Or maybe being connected to ourselves, knowing what is wrong for us. That we sometimes call "gut feeling" or "instinct". I know that listening to such feelings usually makes my life better, although it cannot be guaranteed (and also although there is nothing really to compare to. I don't have a life and a control group).

If we always felt it clearly and so strongly that we would fear to do wrong, we would be far more virtuous, so I suppose that would be a better life, but It might not be so rich without the possibility of doing wrong and the satisfaction of not doing so. Nonetheless, I would appreciate having been prevented from doing some of the stupidest and most cruel things in my past.

well, if this bad feeling is before, i wouldn't do it anymore. unless i feel something good about this thin before i do it, then i do it. i think first if doing something will give me satisfaction, or it will make me feel good. most of the time, when we do something terrible, we feel bad about it afterwards, so it's hard to go on with one's life if this bad feeling over something keeps on surfacing and never quite extinguish from our minds. if only we feel bad before we do something wrong, then our lives will go smoothly, and no bumpy rides occur. but then again, it won't be a guarantee that if we feel bad before doing something wrong it will better our lives. =)
