There are very few people who can call themselves atheist and who will be able to hold a philosophical discussion to disprove the existance of God and sustain their position. If they can do this then they are atheist, the rest of you would fall under the catergory of agnosticism, not true atheists

Even having said that God is Sovereign over all the earth!

The question then is do you agree that you are not really an atheist as you cannot prove your disbelief in God and SUSTAIN your arguement for your disbelief?

Its one thing for someone to say I don't believe, its another to explain why they don't believe, agnostics will say they don't believe but cannot justify their position, true atheist will be able to justify their position, (though it is clearly wrong)

In Vedas Name and Formsand the hierarchy of these matter, but in Vedanta more than the shapes, what comprises that shape matters more.

May be like, Vedas are like the various shapes and forms made of Gold, and in Vedanta more than the shapes and forms, the amount of Gold that makes these shapes matter more.

Now Can we say Vedas, the subtle underlying thread for Extreme Rightist Postures and Vedanta the subtle underlying thread for extreme Leftist Postures in any Society ?

What are your thoughts regarding this ?

Today I was driving and I was looking at all the shadows cast by the houses, cars, whatnot. Then I started thinking about a line in a poem or something that I could write(i tend to do this...), about how mny more shadows are cast by material possesions or something, not just shadows by the houses and cars, but the "shadows" they cast like killing trees, killing people, the gas crisis, taking up A LOT of space...

I'm insane. Please tell me if that makes any sense at all.

Have you ever read a book and had that philosophical quandary, have authors such as Ray Bradbury, Jules Verne, Ayn Rand and others inspire industries progression; or are they the true masters of innovation? Did they read Fahrenheit 451 and say "hey yeah, a hand scanner... lets do that!" Did they 20,000 Leagues under the Sea and decide the submarine would become common place? Have our scientists, mechanical engineers, and inventors been tearing their ideas from books one page at a time? Have authors been secretly directing society in its evolution into the future? Or is it merely a parasitic relationship?? hmmm... now if only someone would write a book about me finding a million dollars!

The issue of the soul will always be a consideration, I know; with that, the problem is definitional--there is no "proof," authentication, scientifically-supplied evidence to sanction its existence. With machines, I'm thinking in terms of separating man from his tools in very literal ways (think Stephen Hawking and Christopher Reeve, ATMS, credit cards, Internet, communications, medicine, and so on).
