Is it light? Does it lighten things? Can darkness be actually light, not absence of it, but another form of pure light?
Did it ever lighten something for you?

Here is my proof:

Some say that God is the meaning of life. God is love according to most religions. In other phiosophy, God is unity, complete reality, the present.

I can reconcile both these concepts of God, and prove that the meaning of life = 1.

For example: Usually love is conditional upon certain factors. These factors being linked to what our ego needs to hold on to in order to survive. I can prove this logically:

We make the assumption that:

A) x = 0 is pure oblivion, and impossible.
B) 1 = love/meaning of life.
C) 0 < x < 1
D) ∑x = 1

What the meaning of life is not: Conditional love. For example:

"I love x"
Is conditional upon: "I do not love (1-x)"

However, if true love is unconditional:

And since: x + (1-x) = 1

Therefore:

True love = 1

Thus:

Meaning of life = 1

Or in other words:

The meaning of life is.

I have a great passion for philosophy, literature, and humanities. Is that a bad thing, or is it something that one should not get involved with? Am I too immature for it since I'm 16?

Why is this so?

Why is it that humans can start out with good and pure intentions and end up with evil deeds? And what can be done to stop the next stone being laid on the road to hell?

Serious answers only please.

Thanks.

Is it wrong to have a more philosophical/thinker's mindset? Where you sort of think a lot about the how and why of things? Or is this a waste of time, too concerned, emo-like?

i fisrt got into philosophy thinking it will help with how i think about things. and it realy did. however it also gave me a whole new set of problems.

i came across solipsims and cartesian scepticism. now i dont know what to beleive. i have no idea if maybe im either going insane or if i should beleive in other people and an external reality or if maybe the whole world doesnt exists and i am living a horribly lonely existsence.

i am not sure if maybe i am taking things to seriousely with the solipsism or if it is actualy just a point to argue something or if solipsism is something to seriousely be considered. same with cartesian skepticism. its all very stressful and maakes me anxious to think that everythin i have evern known and loved may not be real. if they are not then there is no point in living life. its just living a desolate and ulimately meaningless and the most lonely existsnece you could imagine
