he said, one of the reasons you should believe in god, is because if you don’t, you’ll go to hell if he really does exist. I find that to be really stupid, and scary, i mean doesn’t that just show how religion controls, i mean i rather not believe. because its what i believe rather then believe in fear, One thing im sure of, is that if there is a God then he/she/it rather you not believe and be a good person, then believe out of fear, and fake it, and probably be an average not so good not so bad person. whats your opinion.

Hey,

What do we accomplish in life that's so important ? We are
born, we learn, we reproduce, we work, we retire and finally we die?

Obviously we have fun in life but why are we put on this planet ? What are we supposed to do to ?

And what happens when we die ? Do we go in another dimension, live another life in another universe and continue that way forever?

Jesus... I've got many questions and I'm sure I'm not the only one with all these questions...

What are we supposed to do as humans?

I find that we follow from our ancestors steps and continue improving our society, But is this good ? We are basically followers and live on from what they made.....The mistakes they made will affect us and the next generation and so on....

Obviously I'm not expecting any true, accurate answers here, but I want opinions from my fellow brothers and sisters.....

Regards

Jordan JP

PS We are all related in someway....

In general, why is it that most immigrants that came from China and India live in better conditions with higher paying jobs than immigrants from Mexico and Latin America?

Also, most of my immigrant friends who do well in school are predominantly Asian or Indian and my immigrant friends who are Mexican and Latino drops out of high school or college and begin working in lower paying jobs because they have a family to raise.

My family are immigrants and they came to America for the American dream and to struggle in making ends meet could be done in their home country. Why does some immigrants come to America to struggle instead of getting the education to live the American Dream?

Reproductive technologies; cloning; machines that enable people like Stephen Hawking to live; computers that are "learning" language: what do such technological "innovations" mean when attempting to define "human?"

I mean, we only have limited time to live, and then we're gone. Forever. Unless you believe you'll be reborn of course, I'm not putting that down, I just think that it's unfair that we only have one chance. That sucks.

This may sound strange, but you probley won't understand me completey.
I am 14, im pretty sure other people get's this.

Hmm.. let me attempt to explain this.
Right we'll when my mind would start drifting from what im doing. I'd start too day dream, etc. I may go into a stare, not a stare as in such, some people get where they actully go to sleep or something (with there eyes open) and you have to hit them. I still sense everything around me, I will still conintue the thing I was doing, but my mind seems to be gone, it is NOT an outer body experenice because I feel my mind inside my body, I still feel as one. Just serperated.

Now, what I am thinking. This is almost impossible to explain..
I get a sharp, sense of... total weirdness. Little scary. Everything is focused on every secound, I am only thinking of that secound. I would be thinking for example, where did everything come from etc. But in such a more, sharp, real, no anwser sort of way. Arghh out of space
