Sing Yankee Doodle Do.

This depends on what the thing I, "can not do", is.

For example, if it were to be something against the rules, I would forget about it.

If it were something physicaly impossible, I would then begin to daydream of how I would supposidly "do" it, either by inventing something (idealisticly however) in my mind, or thinking of who could, how MIGHT one do it, or try to do something just like it.

If it were something I want to do but is against my morals and thus i can not do it withought breaking my morals, yet I still want to do it, I try to think up as many reasons why on earth I shouldn't do it, starting with the first: its against my morals/beliefs/what i stand for, and try to stay away from the reasons I would want to do it .

For others things that I wanna do but can't do, I simply tell myself thats its not worth the trouble.

First look at, 'What You Want To Do'

Annalyse the conflict, 'Why Can't you do It'

'Divide The Problem Into Attainable Sections'.

Then look at each section, and work out what it is preventing you from attaining What You Want.

Then Work Out an Alternate Way of Obtaining What You Want, of course. After all that, you may not want it anymore.

PLAN! think of a strategy, make every feasible and possible actions that i can at least do to get near to the 'what i can not do'. i'm gonna put in all my effort, and energy to do what i can do at least, and not give up.. nothing is impossible if u try!

i'm currently planning on something is unattainable for a student like me. i cannot fork out money to buy an air tix like any other rich kid now but i'm gonna work hard and wait till the day i've got enough to get that ticket and visit him. its not unattainable, its whether u want it or not!

Get upset for a bit about it. Sometimes feel a bit of envy or regret. But then i move on, find other things to give meaning to. I remember how lucky and fortunate i am to be who i am. Think of all of the great things i have done and will be able to do.

I realize that there is nothing anyone can not be or have or do and that something else is holding me back. If you want to do something the first thing to start doing is imagining yourself doing it. I bet you can even guess whats next?

Sit and ponder on what could have been. As long as I tried my best to achieve it but failed, I can usually be content with that. It's no good crying about it is it?

Stop the self-punishment. Wanting to do that which you cannot do is a form of self-torture.

Find something else to want.
