yeah i maybe be worse yesterday than i am today,
but ive never been a criminal..
if our past-self is indeed a culprit of our trnasformation for the present..
it's a not crime to change(maybe for the worse)
if it is, i might as well turn my present "self" in...
for the future to be safe...for others & myself included.

Time is a concept that is unreal and discardable. The concept of time applies only to consciousness and not the absolute state. In Absolute terms there is only "NOW". Time can be viewed as a succsession of moments, which brings forth a sense of continuity, in the body/mind complex. You are implying that yourself is a body. The body/mind is transitory and subject to a term refered to as death. The body/mind complex is subject to a stream of constant thoughts, emotions, desires which are constantly changing, and passing away. The body grows from infancy to childhood, to adulthood and gradually dies. The self is the permanent, unchanging eternal "NOW." Time does not apply to the real or Absolute. This makes the body unreal in terms of the absolute truth. The self which gives life to the consciousness and it's vehicle the body is nameless and formless, not subject to time or space. Essentially, the self cannot be seen and has never been seen. Identification with the body as the self is a case mistaken of identity. Therefore, this question is irrelevant and should be discarded. See yourself as what?

If I went back and saw myself I'd be pleased with what I am. I'd have no need to turn myself in. Maybe you live in a different world to me?

On the contrary...
I would defend myself in Court, because I would have intimate knowledge of the prosecution's case ahead of time, and would get the case thrown out for lack of evidence, which I used the time machine to eradicate...
And pretending to be my own father in front of the judge with a younger version of myself standing next to me would be a trip...
