In general, why is it that most immigrants that came from China and India live in better conditions with higher paying jobs than immigrants from Mexico and Latin America?

Also, most of my immigrant friends who do well in school are predominantly Asian or Indian and my immigrant friends who are Mexican and Latino drops out of high school or college and begin working in lower paying jobs because they have a family to raise.

My family are immigrants and they came to America for the American dream and to struggle in making ends meet could be done in their home country. Why does some immigrants come to America to struggle instead of getting the education to live the American Dream?

It's never wise, nor is it tactful, to stereotype Latin America as such. What you have just mentioned may as well be coincidental in your situation. All of us are always situated. Never assume anything in general.

I don't mean to be rude. I hope this helps though. God Bless!

Everyone person is different and there is no 'one' American Dream.

Even the lower paying jobs that some of the Central Americans earn is higher then what they are able to make in their country. It is also a lot easier to travel from Central America to the USA than from China / India (which requires planes / ships, which in turn requires money)

All Immigrants have workers that earn high amounts of money and low amounts, you just tend to hear about one or the other based on their origin.

You're making generalisations about cultures based on a few truths.

For one thing it is more difficult to migrate form India or China that Mexico and Latin America.

Most Indian's who migrate come from well-to-do educated families. That's why they have the opportunity to immigrate.

The Chinese who go the the US either come form money or have strong Academic qualifications.

In the US and perhaps Mexico education and some for of social parachute is available for the unfortunate. In India and China there is 'NOTHING'. Yes there are some church and NGO's but not from state funds. Consequently people either get used to having nothing, or bust their @ss.

When Asian's arrive in the US they find opportunity to work and excel, so they do.

Chinese and Indian immigrants are often taught to value education. As a result, they attend post secondary education more often than other groups and as a result are able to become more successful and more quickly.

North Americas tend to tack education for granted and then question why some are less successful than others.

Some North Americans exhibit a sense of entitlements, whereas others have belief systems that provide a sense of gratitude in even very trying circumstances.

Some North Americans complain about not having ipods. Other around the world complain about not having pencils, schools, drinking water and food.

Some members of some groups will also insist on using social services to their advantage and even being fraudulent and then question how others have been able to succeed.

you are obviosly a middle class person who has no real idea of what it is like for some people. I doubt you have mexican and latino friends as you state. Be ashamed of your self for perpetuating a negative stereo type.
