Though I understand that people need their religion to make their lives make sense, why is it that when answering a question they must quote the Bible, or express their own personal beliefs? Instead of addressing the question, they address their own personal views? Is there no objectivity? Or, am I wrong, and there is only one way to express yourself, through religious belief?

I just read some answers relating to question 'What is diversity and why do we need it' or something along those lines. One guy stated that diversity is just a nice, politically correct way of dealing with immigration and that we would all be happy if we lived in our own countries. In essence he was saying that immigration is what has ruined Britain.

Is he right? What do you think?

What are the things that scare you the most?

Some people are afraid of mice, some of snakes, some of public speeches.

I am hoping to know all the things you are afraid of, and why. Be specific. If you are afraid to die, burn in hell, go on a date, give a speech, etc.

Thank you for your help!

Why are people so afraid to live life and enjoy it?

Why do so many fear some being (god or goddess) that they cannot prove? There have been arguments for and against with noone winning. It is what I call the impossible to know arguments.

If noone can know for sure they do or don't exist, I don't see why people worry so much about it? Are they that desperate for a heaven? Do they want people to burn forever?

What gives, and why are people so afraid when you can't prove it either way? Why do they even bother believing it till it has been proven?

My husband abandoned me and the kids but the judge has ordered that he have them half of the time. I want to see my kids daily. I am thinking of running away with them but them I will get caught and end up in jail and he will have them all of the time. I can't kill him because then a stanger will end up with my kids. This has been going on a year and I can't continue to be this sad. I go to counseling and I take meds but that is not really helping. Life just sucks. Why continue?

Intelligent Design is the most elegant theory.

Any complex scientific demonstration of micro-minutae is irrelevant. The facts are clear: evolutionary biology &c is far too complicated to be a convincing explanation ever.

it is the my expensive… religion is deceptive with the verb and science is deceptive with the mathematics. A solar mass was calculated through the old concept of gravitation created by Newton, that is how much bigger the mass biggest the gravitational field… then as explains the black hole of the size of a head of pin with super gravitational field where nor the light escapes? . Explanation: concentrated super mass…. chutômetro is pure, as well as the mass of the sun is pure kick… nobody knows the real value of the mass of the sun, nor makes idea….If the sun will be one of this pseudo black hole with intent mass in algums kilómetros cubical and the remaining portion will be gases… in nuclear fusing…? The mind human being is ignorant and arrogant, it wants to be the owner of the truth that nor knows… You are certain in questioning, therefore it is as soon as science evolves, knocking down the old encardidos concepts that nobody aguenta more to hear of the repeate

The world is changing that much is clear. It seems to me like the vast majority are willing to drive this planet closer to death. Why is that? Where are the ethical morals?

our lives seems all alike with only a few exceptions.
we study for our first ten and several years, or maybe twenty.
then we work for our employers for the next several ten years to earn money for them, competing with the others, hoping to get rich one day, when we gets old, maybe we live healthily, maybe we get some diseases which torture us for the rest of our lives.

that is all.

People sometimes say that only you know the "real" you but isn't it more likely that an external observer - a friend or a relative - can be more objective than you so perhaps they know the real you. You know things about yourself that no one else knows but you can't be fully objective about yourself so which YOU is the real one? Can you really be yourself?
