The gods of old specialized like doctors today. EX: I am a God. . God of Thunder. I am an M.D. a peditriation or whatever. But what about you? What is your specialty? Nothing is actually a thing in itself, thereby making the concept itself a paradox.
It's a lack of anything and everything, but it's a thing. So it's not really a lack of all things.

the thought is disturbing. it is the theory that our life is repeated forever like a tape. we re-experience this life over and over down to the tiniest little detail. and it stays that way for all of eternity.

ok.. im trying to find a word.. i want it to mean: existing outside

i want "exo" at the beginning of it .. such as exogenous .. but that means originating outside.. i want existing outside..

it doesnt have to have "exo" if it fits very well... but im betting any word that fits well will.

im trying to speak about how real truth has nothing to do with humans, or any other organism for that matter.

and i want a word to describe the type of truth.. im talking about a totally objective viewpoint .. such as a viewpoint the universe would have of humans.

Please read all before answering.

As part of a personal research project I have been investigating human emotions. Most interesting of all is the emotion of Love, since it seems to have many different forms and facets to it. Personally I have ID'd seven distinctive form of this emotion springing from different sources and stimulus.

My question is, Are there any people (philosophers) or groups (medical researchers, etc.) who have investigated love and what did they find?

I need to know what a dream I had means. The dream goes like this. I open a jet black steel door, with large bolts holding it to the wall. I opened the door, peeked inside, and the color of the room was all black. It was a plain concrete room, and there was one window, and a big wooden black table. The light from the window shone upon the whole table, and there was something silver laying upon it. I walked inside the room. I walked up to the table, and I bent over slightly to look at what was atop it. It was a silver glock .22 pistol. I set my right hand down upon the table with my fingers spread out, and I picked up the gun with my left hand. I put the gun about 1 foot away from my head, and pulled the trigger three times. I set the gun down in the same spot, and then reached up to my head. There where three metal slugs stuck to the side of my head. They hadn't even penetrated my skull. After that I just stared at the spot where the blood from my head splattered onto the table.

I recently recieved my phd, and am continuing research for my University. I'm an instructor for freshmen courses in physics and philosophy. One day a student asked me if we were "God". This question is not so uncommon.. many people contemplate whether we manifest our desires and wishes through human action inplace of devine intervention. For me, it's never been a personal question. We've constantly considered the question in a collective sense "are 'we' god".. but I never really stopped to think, "Am I God?".. I can't make the tv remote float over to my hand, but I can pick it up. I can't just make myself a millionare, but I can work to become one.. So I thought: "what can God do, that I can't do?" I want to hear your answer. Mainly because I'm interested in the types of thing's people commonly give credit to God for. Before you answer contemplate these: "Do we operate on the same mass/scale that 'God' would?" "Do you know for sure we can't do that?" "What evidence supports you?"
