Like a bullet ripping through my life
Opening the gates to a river
Washing away your green disguises
That seem to control my life
The goal seems to be
Gaining everything for yourself
And in the end, you will have nothing
But yourself
I will tear everything about your cold blackened way
of life
Out of my heart
Only then will I Achieve
Satisfaction in my life
You don't control me anymore

The bullet ripping through this person's life is the feeling of the shocking realization that they finally can see the other persons true self. It's like learning a horrible truth, and having it disrupt everything you previously thought.

They see that the other person's "goal" is a selfish one, and has really nothing to do with the writer, or the person is using the writer to get what they want.

"In the end you will have nothing but yourself" a notion that selfish people drive others away, leaving them alone.

This person will only be satisfied, and happy when they forget everything about the controler, and start to live their life.

It's about freedom from an oppressive, manipulative person.

I think it's about greed. "Green disguises that seem to control my life" and "The goal seems to be gaining everything for yourself, and in the end, you will have nothing." It's about the author rejecting the way of life of greedy people, and the "bullet" must symbolize the moment/event/whatever that brings about this change, the thing that will "tear everything about your cold blackened way...out of my heart." He's no longer controlled by greed and seeks true happiness.

It seems like it's a song about greed. I got this hint from green disguises. And talks about gaining everything for oneself. But will truly have nothing because greed and money don't give you anything real. This person is going to get rid of the greedy lifestyle and then he/she will achieve satisfaction. Money and greed does not control this person anymore.

The bullet ripping through, opening gates is his/her epiphany. It's the realization about this greed and how it isn't good.

Glory be and behold, note to self: religion: freaky while considering that, okay, at this point i’m abusing sarcasm lest ye shall not forget, Intuition is the undoubting conception of a pure and attentive mind, which arises from the light of reason alone, and is more certain than deduction.

The song refers to a cold-hearted person who has had a negative impact on the person singing/writing the lyrics. The bullet is the evil that the person has done and the writer needs to rid themselves of this person and all of the ills that the person has done to him/her.

Sound to me like someone is ending a relationship. Coming to the realization that the relationship has enslaved the author and has gained the courage to extract himself/herself from a confining situation.
The bullet phrase indicates extreme pain.
