If we could live forever (or let's say for one to two more hundred years), why would/wouldn't you want to live until the end ?

I wouldn't want to live forever simply because life would become montonous and meaningless. Because if life seems infinite, nothing would have worth or meaning, things would be taken for granted.

Haven't you heard?

Even the immortals admire us because we don't live forever, everything's more precious that way.

I would love to live for two or three hundred years. I feel I do so much and I want to learn more, I would have more time for everything. I would learn Greek and Hebrew and read the Bible in those languages, I would learn to paint and more... Wow it would be fab..

It would depend...would you be the only one living this long or would everyone else around you be living that long to...

my grandmother is 90....and she wants to die..not in bad health..one blood pressure pill a day and a vitamin..still lives alone ..can get around without the use of any aid....but she has outlived one of her children (my mother)..most of her family-two brothers still live and 3 is dead.... and almost everyone she grew up with, her friends ,and her husband of 56 years...she wants no more of life.....she wonders what she has done so wrong that she must still remain here....

If everyone..or almost everyone I loved laid beneath the ground...I would not want to be here either..........

I don't want to live so long because by the time I'm 70-90 years of age I don't think my brain would work the same as now. I most likely to get some kind of aging disease.

because life is full of pain. But I would still want to be immortal if I could. being immortal is being without lasting consequences.
