I wouldn't

For no amount of money, my family can be happy to sacrifice me, even if I am unable to earn or disabled or whatever!! Had it not been so, family would not be worth its name.

Two assumptions in your question bother me - and the answer is that I would not deal. Life should never be bought or sold.

One of your assumptions is that somehow the worth of a life is measured by a person's ability to work. Many wonderful people cannot work, and they contribute a tremendous amount to the world and the people around them. Conversely, there are lots of people who DO work, and who contribute nothing to the world but a little bit of economic action in one small corner of the world.

And of course the second assumption, that this kind of transaction is worthy of discussion. If you are willing to "deal" with your life, then why not slavery? Why wait until someone is crippled or disabled to buy their life - why not engage in the wholesale trading of human beings while they can still work - you know, work in the fields, clean the house?

I am bothered by slavery in any form - and your question rather takes us back to the days when human beings in this country could be bought. Slavery is alive and well in many other countries of the world - and that bothers me more.

No, I would not deal with my life, for any amount of money, and I would fight against anyone who would.

I have seen the miserable existance of many elderly people. A life of misery is not a life worth living. Organs for sale at any price. That is another world away.

I'm assuming this means my death. I consider my life priceless, but if my family gets the money I'd say a billion dollars.
