The world is changing that much is clear. It seems to me like the vast majority are willing to drive this planet closer to death. Why is that? Where are the ethical morals?

With ever increasing standard of living and thereby the choking competition for scarce opportunities, people are so overly preoccupied with their self interest and the short term issues that there is no room available for pondering over community welfare and ethical morals. Nothing short of a total shake up can perhaps rectify the trend.

However, I believe that a threshold will be reached one day when the human intelligence would genuinely get wisened up to the impending peril. There is no other option but to turn back to the time tested ethics we had painstakingly established in the past to ensure greater welfare of the majority by curtailing narrow selfish pursuits.
