Should it make a difference to your morality whether or not you think this physical universe is all there is or whether or not you think there is a God?

There seems to be a pattern, especially in the areas of morality and ethics, where extremist views get credited more than balanced views. I assume because the creditors agree that a strong view either way is better than a balanced response.

Do people think the whole forum provides the balance or are they just unbalanced.

Or what?

mine is a smile costs nothing:

Give a smile away.....

A smile costs nothing, but gives much.
It enriches them who receive, with out making poorer them who give.
It takes a moment, yet the memory may last forever.
A smile may bring happiness to the home, fosters goodwill in business, and is a sign of friendship.
It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and is nature’s best antidote to trouble.
Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged , borrowed, or stolen; for it is something of no value to any one, unless it is given away.
Some people are too tired to give you a smile.
Give them one of yours.
No one needs a smile so much as he who has none to give.

Love comes in many shapes and forms,My question is this, how do you know beyond a doubt that you are loved? Be specific.. why do you believe that anothers feelings are what you think they are? How do you know that you are not just believing what another wants you to believe? Think about it, what makes you so sure? Please state which form of love you are talking about,eg parental, soulmate, friendship, ect

If you believe in god, heaven and hell then aren't you supposed to always fear eternal damnation? If that is true then wouldn't that make it a rational fear? I don't know, when I thought of this question, I had to laugh because everything in life seems so ridiculous even to the point of death and the unknown. Any other crazies out there besides me, what do you guys think?
