For Aristotle, "eudaimonia" was the greatest good. It is a sort of all-encompassing happiness, well-being, and satisfaction.

One achieves eudaimonia by living virtuously. This means playing your natural role. Natural order was essential for achieving the "good".

Its very complicated, but I believe good acc. to him is unchanging /permanent, i.e EXISTENCE. Let me show you:
Aristotle says that the good is something not easily taken:

Say we have a door, if the door works well its a good door, if not its a bad door.
What makes that so?
A door, like anything else gains existence by the final cause, i.e. purpose.

When the door works, it is in line with its purpose and nature, therefore it is good. When it does not work, it is not in line with its purpose and does not even exist as door, which is bad.

Now something that is easily effected by external things has more potential not to be good, bec there are many factors that can come and remove the thing from its essence

Good means in line with its nature and purpose so that it has existence! The purpose of a thing is what gives it existence. Say you were walking to get a soda, and you remember you already one, you would not keep walking to get a soda, WHY??? bec. there is no purpose.

When aristotle says something is good, he means it is in line with its nature, its purpose.

Let us applu this idea, man is good... man is good when he does what is in line with his nature, to be rational, when he doesnt he s not good, and does not exist as man.
This is what aristotle means that the good is something not easily taken, bec. if you took this, it wouldnt exisit!!!!! its the essence of the thing, the good is the essence.

Now if apply this to God its gets a little tricky, bec you cannot say God has a purpose, bec then the purpose is prior to God and he is no longer the unmoved mover.

What we mean when we say God is good, is that God is an unchanging, unaffected existence, who has neccesary existence, the ultimate good/existence

The eudaimonia.
It's supposed to be the mean between the deficient (too little), or the indulgent (too much), and that mean is the "good" thing to do.

Deficient - (hatred of the other gender), Good - (celibacy/fruitful marriage), Idulgent - (Promiscuity)
