This is in relation to rhetoric. We all do it - for example: I want an apple. They are juicy, fresh and good for you.
Why does three words sound better than four, or two?
Politicians do this a lot.

The human being was created as a separate specie by the one who started the act of creation. The Creator is the one who made the heavens, the earth and what is between them including us humans. The one who created time as we know it. The creator existed before time and will exist after time, whatever is created has a finite life including time. We human are just a tiny spec on earth, the earth itself looks like an insignificant spot in the universe. Look at pictures of the earth from space, it can barely be seen behind a thumb. Baboons and Monkeys are still around, we are not related to them. They are a different specie that has been created. Hence referring to them as our cousins is a lot of rubbish. If we humans think we know so much to doubt our own creation, why don't we stop aging? Why can't we stop a person from dying when they are on their death bed? Why does our subconscious refer to a higher being when we have a near death experience? Think about creation....

"It's a shame that the only thing a man can do for eight hours a day is work. He can't eat for eight hours; he can't drink for eight hours; he can't make love for eight hours. The only thing a man can do for eight hours is work." -- William Faulkner

Obviously, Faulkner left out sleep, but that's not something that you "do," so I imagine that's why it wasn't mentioned.

And yes, it says "a man" but consider the context/time period.

Anyway, if this philosophy hits at the main source of stress for Americans, why has no one proposed a shorter work day or week? Are we really that greedy?

Religion, no matter what you believe in seems to have on central person/persons they focus on. Teaching are often very similar, but there are many different interpretations of them and how extreme they are held as a belief. My question is, why is religion such a great cause of violence and hardships for our earth, if in fact religions are supposed be the study and worship of ideas?

What is the most difficult and life-changing decsion that you have ever encountered? It could be to do with relationships, education, family, friends or even comitting yourself to a political perspective- what choice was most difficult? What did you eventually resolve upon, and how did you decide that?

You know, all of us are always in search of something. We always want to find the truth in everything, whether it is important or not. I've rarely understood that the greater the question or the problem is, the smaller the chance to find a solution to it. Am I too pessimistic?

Are we what we feel?
If we feel sad, or happy, or kind, does that make us what we are?
Or are we seperate from our experience to our feelings and emotions?
To me it seems that feelings are the most definitive things of our experiences, but is that all to us or are we more than what we feel?

It's a bit of a hard question to answer really but its been playing in my mind alot!

what for did people cry for Diana or other luxus celebs on the day they died ? they didn´t know her personally. These celebs were millionaires. Cause Iam sure, they won´t care about our death families either.

I would rather donate my money for Tsunami victims in Indonesia or India. Those people need more help. There are some other important things in life.

In my class, there's many tables with 2 people per table. Whenever we take a test or quiz I notice the person sitting next to me looking at my sheet and copying my answers. I feel uncomfortable knowing that but I don't want to have them busted and hate me later for that. I also don't want the person to get all the answers (I'm an A+ student :D). What should I do?
