I think men are definitely more hedonistic. The search for pleasure is endless in both female and male. Nevertheless men are more prong to finding pleasure in the sexual sense. But there´s also the matter of simpler pleasures which definitely the female species would be more attuned to.
I think that the fellow answerer person that divided her opinion according to age was close.
I think that one becomes more or less hedonic with age, plus the pleasures might be different at different stages of ones life.

Next time I have a chance to do a fair comparison is when I'm born different gender. If I remember what it's like to be a woman in this case, I'll definitely let people know the answer to this question :-) I don't think there is a way to compare.

I don't think that you can blanket statment which sex is more hedonistic. Depends on the culture and the role of each sex therein. That being said, it's probably fairly equal.

Depends on the stage of life of the person. I think in later life, it is women (around 28 - 35 years) - as thats when women truly relax, stop trying so hard to please their lovers and be more exhibitionist and enjoy themselves.
I think men when they are young - 18 - 25 - when they tend to go through the one-night stand and frequent love affairs era.

Well it depends in what aspect you are referring this to. If you are talking about in general well men. The by nature does what is right for them and everything and one else falls under his umbrella. A woman by nature tends to please her mate and offspring first. God Bless.
