The Marxist Althusser defines and uses the term Interpellation to sketch his ideas of how society functions in relation to its subjects. Can anyone give me a clear, clean and concise definition of the term? And what secondary source material have you read that deals with this concept?

With interracial marriages becoming accepted and more common, I just wanted to know if you are ok with the fact that all races will mix together and become one race? Or, would you prefer that people would always marry within their own race, so as to maintain their color and beliefs from generation to generation?

I want serious, constructive opinions on this from you.

Peace is not some utopia where everyone thinks the same. That would be boring and we would all cease to exist, we could not thrive in such hideous unchallenging conditions. Peace is embracing and living with our differences that challenge us...embracing the thoughts, beliefs, and conditions that make us each unique and different and being understanding of them. When Peace rides into battle, (Peace in Battle? Boy, that sounds ironic) the starving children of the world, the injustices of mankind's indifferences, the homelessness that walks alone, the child abuse that shames us, the killings that are never justified, the wars over loss of humanity, and all hideous creations of man's misguided ways become less in the face of Peace and soon dwindle into oblivion. As Peace grows, the world remains a challenging, exciting, adventurous place, that offers a utopia of differences to make us breath and live to our fullest. That is what Peace is - living to the fullest on our journey on Earth.

Please explain your views.

I think that we do not have free will because humans are essentially animals and everything we do, from eating to sleeping to having sex is driven by a biological want. Even altruism stems from it. So perhaps the thought is also driven by biological needs?

There is a book called "Now". It tells how to live in every second. But I tried and it is too hard. For example (extreme) imagine you are on death row. You have three hours then you will be gassed. If you live in the moment, does that mean for every second of life before they gas you that you could be content up to that moment?
