I feel alone and lonely, and I need someone to talk to, I am so alone and lonely, that I make up imaginary friends to talk to, and that is scary and not normal. It is not normal, because no one there.

I am talking to myself, and I have no friends. And I ask my imaginary friends questions like are you going to die and he says yes, I am going to die. Then I ask why do we have to die, I forgot what the imaginary friend says. But I am 21 years old and it is not normal.

In the documentary "Dark Waters Rising" on the animal rescue in New Orleans after Katrina, one of the rescuers, when debating about whether to return animals to the owner or adopt them out, said, "These homes weren't habitable BEFORE Katrina."

Our government couldn't even manage to get in to give them clearn water even though the Canadian Mounted Police managed to bring supplies all the way from our northern border.

It is no secret that there are many, many families STILL left without the means to rebuild.

Should it be a surprise to anyone that the "terrorist" (crime) rate in New Orleans is sky rocketing through the roof of the Superdome?

If we don't care enough about people to provide them with basic necessities i.e food, shelter, and healthcare...why should they care about us or hold our homes or our lives inviolate?

Is it possible that poverty and inequality could have anything to do with it?

If you could choose your surroundings (regardless of people) what would they be like?
Ideally, stretch your imagination, it doesn't have to be a placec that exists, just your fantasy environment. PREFERABLY within the boundries of the possible.

People at times experience ' ill ', challanging, or sad events in their life and don't move forward in the lifes saying "Oh, but I had such and such happen to me...that's why I am this way today".

Those ' ill ' events are what another put on them...or what life put on them . . . but it's not who they authentically are.

Why do many not see that and simply ' take that ill fitting coat ' that another ' put on them ' them saying "this is who you are". Why not simply take that ' coat ' off and say to "them" . . . " you may think that this looks good on me . . . but it's not me " and shuck that coat and move on.

Why do so many hold themselfs ' emotional hostage ' and not move forward ?

This can apply to personal events in ones life or society's guidelines / thoughts of outdated mindsets.
.
Why not have courage of inner strength of personal self and move forward. ?

It only takes one person. Those many 'one persons' voices and stance to speaks volumes.
