A lot of the answers here are referencing an intangible sense of existance being the most precious possession (in slight variations that is the basic idea.) However, in keeping with the thought of human possession having to have some material "mass" so to speak, I'd say the most precious possession of a human being (body) is a beating heart. Without that, NO ONE is a human being anymore. It may not be the most romanticized notion, but I think it's the most straightforward, logical one.

Its You, the true inner self in you. If one is really good to him and to others, he / she will consider himself/herself as the most precious thing to possess in this world. One important thing is that what is considered good by one might be considered bad by the other!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I'm sure you know what Frued would say. In my opinion, it is there unique brain. The only part of a human being no one can completely understand (yet...). The ambiguity of it makes it special.
